Bio

Aaron Foster, age 87, of Jacksonville, Texas died Friday, January 23, 2009, in Tyler, Texas. Burial at Bullard Cemetery were under the direction of Autry Funeral Home of Jacksonville. He was born August 13, 1921, in Dialville, Texas to Garrett Foster and Lucy Stripling Foster. Mr. Foster served in the Army Air Corps, was a member of the Church of Christ in Bullard and was formerly a welder. He was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Sarah Leone Harris Foster. He is survived by sons, Tony Foster and wife Elaine, and Chet Foster and wife Hannah, both of Bullard; brothers, Dewayne Foster of Bryan, Jerry Foster of Mount Pleasant, and James Neal Foster of Jacksonville; sisters, Lee Etta Cook, and Virginia Foster, both of Jacksonville; seven grandchildren, Justin, Holly, Robyn, Taylor, Matthew, Sarah, and Destiny; and four great-grandchildren, Makena, Hayden, Wyatt and Hudson.
