Source: The Waxahachie Daily Light August 1985 Brigman Mrs. Martha Sue Brigman, 61, of Waxahachie died Monday at Tenery Community Hospital. Funeral services are to be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Boze-Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Morrie Walworth officiating. Burial will be in Auburn Cemetery. Mrs. Brigman was born on Sept. 30, 1923, in Waxahachie. A retired secretary, she had formerly been employed by Ellis County Farm Bureau, Norgas Co., Waxahachie Bank and Trust Co., and Ellis County Public Works Department. She was a member of the Maypearl United Methodist Church. Mrs. Brigman was married to Harvey John Brigman Jr. in 1947 in Waxahachie and he preceded her in death in 1978. Survivors include 2 daughters, Mrs. Karen Turner of Dallas and Mrs. Betty Sewell of Arlington; a granddaughter; 3 sisters, Ruth Mills and Inez Graham, both of Waxahachie and Mrs. Oran Brown of Red Oak, and several nieces and nephews. The family will be at 110 Auburn. Pallbearers will be J.L. Segars, Paul Wiggins, Pete Cober, James Carter, Quentin Golladay and Bob Brannon.
