Mary Frances (Patak) Melin, age 75, went to be with her Lord and Savior on the morning of October 24, 2008, at Park Plaza Nursing Home in Whitney, TX. She was born on January 26, 1933, in Ennis, TX, to the late Joe F. and Frances Patak. She married the late William Joseph Melin on September 14, 1947. She lived in the Dallas area until 1979 and retired with her beloved husband at Lake Whitney. She took pride in her work as a precision electro plater. She was a great lover of nature, fishing, crafts and her family and friends. Mary Frances is survived by her son and his wife, Billy Joe and Suzanne; her grandchildren, Billy Joe, Jr., Stacy Marie, Joseph Michael, and Stefany Anne and many loving friends. The mass of Christian Burial for Mary Frances Melin will be held on Tuesday, October 28th, at 10am in St. John Church with interment at St. Joseph's Cemetery under the direction of JE Keever Mortuary. Rosary will be recited on Monday at 7:30 in Keever's Chapel.
