John Allen Brown married Priscilla Hardister on November 13, 1845 in Huntsville, Randolph County, Missouri Obituary The El Reno Democrat 26 November 1908 - DEATH OF A PIONEER REGARDING JOHN ALLEN BROWN One of the 89ers was called to his last sleep last night when John A. Brown passed from this life at his home 615 West Wade. John A. Brown was born in Grayson County, Kentucky, March 9, 1829 and in 1889 he came to Oklahoma County where he homesteaded a claim. He moved to this city last October and is survived by his wife and ten children, William H. Who lives in Mark, Oklahoma, Mrs. Mary A. King, of Minco, Reuben of Clairmore, Mrs. N.I. Hardister of Marshall, Missouri, Robert H. and Charles B. of Pryor Creek, John T. of Verdigris, Oklahoma, James T. of Kirksville, Missouri, Mrs. Ella Moore of Oklahoma and Joseph M. of El Reno. The funeral was held a three o'clock this afternoon from the Baptist Church and was conducted by El Reno Lodge A.F. and A.M. The sermon was preached by Reverend D.B.
