Charlotte Ann Davis, age 58 of New Boston, Texas passed away Saturday, January 17, 2009 in a local nursing facility. Mrs. Davis was born May 16, 1950 in Gilmer, Texas. She was a homemaker, a member of the Church of God, a Sunday School teacher at the Word of Faith, Simms, and is preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Una Mae Russell. Survivors include her husband Gary Wayne Davis, Sr. of New Boston, Texas, one son, Gary Wayne Davis, Jr. of New Boston, Texas, three daughters, Cheryl White of New Boston, Tonya Yates of New Boston, Jackie Davis of Texarkana, Texas, 9 grandchildren, one great grandchild and a number of other relatives and friends Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, January 20, 2009 at the Church of God, New Boston with Bro. Leo Smith and Bro. C.G. Wiley officiating. Interment will be in Rondo Memorial Park, Texarkana, Arkansas under the direction of Bates-Rolf, New Boston. Visitation will be from 6:00 until 800 P.M. Monday, January 19, 2008 at the funeral home.
