Bio

Edith Lurlene Gandy, 84, of Corsicana passed away Monday, Nov. 29, 2004, at Heritage Oaks Retirement Village. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Griffin-Roughton Chapel with Ferman Carpenter officiating. Interment will follow at Campbell-Elrod Cemetery. Pallbearers will be John Jones, Jake Hasek, Chris Abbe, David Abbe, Tim Easley and Johnny Easley. Mrs. Gandy was born April 15, 1920, in Corsicana to A. J. Berryhill and Lillie Adams Berryhill. She was preceded in death by her son, Michael Gandy; and her parents. Survivors include her daughters, Karen Jones of Ingleside and Vicki Hethcoat of Corpus Christi; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sister, Flora Edwards of Corsicana; and a number of nieces and nephews.
