The Rockdale Reporter January 15, 2009 Terry CAMERON — Funeral services for Kathryn Lanell Terry, 55, were held Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2009, at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Lafferty officiating. Burial followed in Seaton Cemetery. Ms. Terry died Sunday, Jan. 11. She was born Oct. 19, 1953, in Rosebud to Helm Margaret Hurta Hejl and Albert Vincent Hejl. Ms. Terry was a graduate of Rosebud-Lott High School and Temple College. She was director of marketing for Royal Seating Corp. in Cameron and in 1989 joined MooreCo (Balt, Best-Rite and Trinity) in Temple serving as vice president for the past 19 years. Ms. Terry was multi-talented and had a deep love of music. In her younger years, she was the lead singer of a traveling band. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her two dachshunds, T-Bone and BlackJack. Ms. Terry also liked to travel and cook, and she had a fondness for fishing and hunting. She was a state champion tennis player in her younger years and she loved playing board games and card games. Survivors are her companion, Perry Swain, and his children, Michael Swain and wife Brittany and their children, Cheyenne and Michael Jr., Jordan Kyle Swain and Samantha Swain; three sisters, Barbara Ann Hejl and husband William, Lorraine Hejl Moore and husband Ernest, Helen Hejl Belson and husband Charles; a brother, Albert "Chip" Hejl and wife Jackie; nephews Greg Moore and wife Paola and daughter Bronte, Allen Hejl, Brad Belson and wife Heidi and children Brinley and Nash, Russell Belson, Nathan Hejl, Reagan Hejl, Kevin Hejl; nieces Julie Moore Karnes and husband Brain and children Madison and Preston, Karen Hejl Massar and husband Darrel and children Courtney and Walker, and Brittany Belson; and godchildren Brittany Belson and Madison Pratt. Pallbearers were Matt Bissanti, James Brashear, Joshua Hueske, Patrick O'Neal, Frank Saladino, Jonathan Vogelsang, Daniel Willie, Bob Wilson and Jairo Zhu.
