Clara G. Arnold Edna—Clara Gibson Arnold, 89, of Edna, died Thursday, Dec. 5, 2002. She was born June 26, 1913, in Belclair, to the late Claude Michael and Cleo L. Berryhill. She was a homemaker and a member of Baptist Temple. Survivors: daughters, Cleo Thurmaud of Pasadena and Susie Mae Hadley of Edna; son, Howard L. Gibson of Kopperl; sisters, Almay Rae Bell of Michigan, Emolyn Thompson of Phoenix, Ariz., Melba Holberg of Houston and Benny Fay Schlomach of Wichita Falls; brothers, Robert O. Berryhill and Oscar Berryholl Jr., both of Edna, and Charlie Berryhill of Kingsville; 15 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and 27 great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by: first husband Howard O. Gibson; second husband Ben R. Arnold; and parents. Visitation will be 6-8 p. m. tonight at Slavik Funeral Home chapel. Services will be 2 p. m.
