Funeral Services for Bobby George Meredith, 66, of Duncanville, formerly of Eustace, are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home Chapel, Athens. Burial will be at Cottonwood Cemetery in Henderson County. Mr. Merideth died May 9 in Dallas. He was born February 25 1936 in Van Zandt County to the late J. L. (Buster) and Hilda Corrine Lake Merideth. Mr. Meredith was a resident of Duncanville for the past 35 years. A former resident of Eustace, he graduated Eustace High School 1954 and Henderson County Junior College in 1956. He retired as a Postal Carrier from the Joe Poole Postal Station in Dallas after 36 years and was a member of the National Association of Letter Carriers Branch 132. He was an usher for the American Airlines Center in Dallas and a 10 year employee of H&R Block in Duncanville. He is survived by his wife of 47 years Carolyn Graham Meredith, Duncanville, sons and daughters-in-law, Bob and Pam Meredith, Wilburn, Arkansas, Todd and Melissa Meredith, Arlington ,daughters and sons-in-law, Leigh and Ken Willis, Corinth, Gaye Meredith and John Hendley, Duncanville, Dianne and Jon Cresswell, Euless, ten grandchildren, one great grandson, sisters Rose Gouge, Eustace, Shirley Turns, Grapevine and Carol Little, Brownsboro. Pallbearers will be Hal Gouge, Joel Gouge, Jeff Gouge, Russell Turns, John Wayne Ballarand, Gary Marion. Honorary pallbearers are members of the National Association of the Letter Carriers Branch 132, employees of the American Airlines Center, employees of H&R Block Duncanville Branch, Billy Joe Bonner, Fancher Melton, Clayton Bryant, Jerry Dean Smith.
