David Gantt was the son of Mr. & Mrs. Thomas Gantt. David Gantt married Georgeanne H. Scott on August 12, 1866 in Coosa County, Alabama, Sarah Jane Horton in 1876 in Logan County, Arkansas. Note: Confederate Civil War veteran serving as a Private in the 8th Alabama Infantry Regiment, Company B.
