He married (1) JULIA ANN WAITS 20 Mar 1853, daughter of MARK WAITS and HANNAH UNIDENTIFIED. She was born 05 Mar 1833 in Georgia, USA1211, and died 14 Jul 1854 in Bartow, Georgia. He married (2) JOSEPHINE VICTORIA HARRIS 04 Oct 1857, daughter of ARCHIBALD HARRIS and MARY THOMPSON. She was born 1840 in Georgia, and died May 1880 in Bartow, Georgia1213. He married (3) MARTHA AMANDA WEST PULLEN 27 Dec 1882 in Hogansville, GA. She died 15 Jan 1908. Notes for WILLIAM SMITH DAVIS: Enlisted in the Confederate army on April 21, 1862, the Kings Battery, Georgia Light Artillery. He served until December 3, 1862 at Murphreysboro, TN, at which time he resigned because of serious health problems and returned toi Polk Co, GA.
