Bio

Funeral services for Mr. John William Willis, 77, of Pitkin were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 13, in the Gravel Hill Baptist Church the Rev. Arlene Smith officiated. Burial followed in the church cemetery under the direction of the White Oaks Funeral Home of Oakdale. Mr. Willies died Wednesday, March 10, in his residence. He was preceded in death by one son, William Earl Willis. Survivors include two sons, Johnny Willis Jr. and Robert Lee Willis, both of Pitkin; two daughters, Judy Elaine Nolen of Pitkin and Sherry Lynn Willis of Leesville; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. ====================== Father: William Willis b: 7 JAN 1884 Mother: Laura Louisa James b: 18 SEP 1888
