Husband of Jennie "Jen" (Richards) Collins; Son of William James Collins & Sarah Frances Isadora (Ashmore) Collins. George Edward “Ed” Collins Sep. 23, 1891 Jul. 12, 1959 G.E. Collins Expires Friday George Edward Collins, 67 life-long Navarro county resident, retired farmer, died Friday night in the Twilight Home following a short Illness. Funeral services will be held from the McCammon Chapel Sunday at 3 p.m. with burial in the Pattison cemetery. The rites will be conducted by Rev. Jack N. Bell, pastor of the Bethel Missionary Baptist church. Surviving are a brother, Jim Bob Collins, Emhouse; two sisters, Mrs. Dera Russell. Barry and Mrs. Minnie Richards, Coricana, and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives. Nephews will be pallbearers. Corsicana Daily Sun - Saturday, June 13, 1959 ----- G .E.
