JACQUELIN A. SCHAFER, died Wednesday, May 3, 2006, in Tarpon Springs, FL. She was born Jacquelin Ann Oseth on October 18, 1929, in Oslo, MN. In 1961, she and her husband "Bud" (John) moved to Bloomfield, Michigan where they made their home until they moved permanently to Florida in 1992. She also worked as an executive secretary for VSI before they moved to Florida. Jackie enjoyed having her children and grandchildren visit her in Florida, and also loved playing cards with her friends. In 2004, her entire family gathered in Charleston, SC to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. She was a member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church in Tarpon Springs. Jackie Schafer was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She treasured her family and friends and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Jackie was survived by her loving husband John "Bud" Schafer of 51 years. Dear mother of John (Shannon), Jane Conn (Steve), Julie Brouillard (Marc) and Jill Augustine. Sister of Bill Oseth. Grandmother of Jay (Kierste), Lisa (Dave) and Bradley Shafer; Stephanie, Laura, and Michael Conn; Christine and Kellie Brouillard Family will receive friends at A.J. Desmond & Sons (Vasu, Rodgers & Connell), 32515 Woodward Ave., Royal Oak, Monday 6:00-8:00pm. Funeral Mass Tuesday 10:00am at Church of St. Owen, 6869 Franklin, Bloomfield Hills. Visitation begins at church 9:30am. Interment Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly, Michigan.
