AGED FARMER DIES TUESDAY SOLOMON SHOCKEY SERVICES TO BE THURSDAY LAWRENCEVILLE, ILL., JUNE 5 - -Funeral services for Solomon Shockey, 86, will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow from the Baptist Church, with Rev. W. R. Anderson of the Church of God officiating, assisted by the Baptist pastor, Rev. Eldon Peek. Burial will be in the Charlottesville cemetery. Mr. Shockey died at the home of his grandson, Burl Stevenson, at 1416 South Seventh street in Lawrenceville at 5 a.m. Tuesday. He had made his home there for 16 years after he had retired from active farming near Westport. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Nellie Angle of Sumner, rural route three; also several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
