Wife of Joseph David Shelton Sr.; Daughter of William Thomas "Tom Allen & Mary Elizabeth (Tinkle) Allen Mary Adeline (Allen) Shelton Mar, 14, 1881 - July 21, 1929 FUNERAL SERVICES FOR EMHOUSE WOMAN MONDAY AFTERNOON Mrs. Mary A. Shelton, aged 48 wife of J. D. Shelton, died at the family home at Emhouse about 2 o'clock Sunday morning. She is survived by her husband, several brothers and sisters and other relatives. Funeral services were held at the tabernacle at Emhouse Sun- day afternoon at 4 o'clock, with burial in Pattison cemetery, Rev. H. A. Conway, officiating. Corley-McMahon Funeral Home directed the funeral. The Corsicana Daily Sun - Monday, July 22, 1929
