Bio

Services for Odessa Weaver, 82, of Huntington, are scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Oakley-Metcalf Chapel with the Rev. George Glidden and the Rev. E. L. Gray officiating. Burial will follow in the Zavalla Cemetery. Mrs. Weaver was born March 14, 1910 in Angelina County and died Sunday evening in a local hospital. Mrs. Weaver was a lifetime resident of Angelina County. She was a homemaker and a member of the Pine Forest Missionary Baptist Church of Huntington. Mrs. Weaver was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Weaver, in 1977. Survivors: son and daughter-in-law, Bobby and Reva Weaver; daughter and son-in-law, Nita and Joe Harris; brother, Robert Fridell; 6 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren.
