ZELLA JOHNSON Mrs. Zella Johnson, 62, of Cravens, La., died in the Baptist Hospital in DeRidder at 8am Saturday. She was a life long residen of Cravens. Funeral services were conducted at 3pm Sunday, April 1, 1951 at the Gravel Hill Baptist church with the Rev. Herman Moses, pastor, officiating. Burial was in the Gravel Hill cemetery under direction of Ardoin Funeral home of Oakdale. Surviving is her husband; Thomas M. Johnson and three sons, Winfred, J.D. and O.J., all of Cravens, one daughter, Mrs. Ruby Cupp of Alexandria; one brother, Dan Howard of Rosepine, La., five sisters, Mrs. Dovie Johnson of DeRidder, Mrs. Mat Johnson, Miss Zettie Howard and Kathryn Howard, all of Pitkin, Mrs. Delie Calhoun of Shreveport. Also surviving are nine grandchildren.
