Bio
Frank Jefferson Jackson, age 75 of Pensacola, passed away Thursday, December 18, 2008. Mr. Frank was a member of Northview Baptist Church. He was retired from The United States Air Force with 20 years of dedicated service. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoyed camping and fishing and was a Nascar Fan of Dale Earnhart. Mr. Jackson was a grocer of Pleezing Food Store for more than 18 years. He is preceded in death by his wife, Yvonne Jackson; his son, Michael James Jackson and his grandson, Brandon Frank Kirkland. He is survived by his children, Jeff L. Jackson (Linda), Thillis T. Jackson (Carol), Susie Kirkland, (Eddie Foster), Phillip Jackson and Bonne' Bland (Kelly); his grandchildren, Melissa Jackson, Lacey Jackson, Dustin Jackson, Shana Hill, Dana Chavis, Kenneth Jackson, Jody Jackson, Barry Kirkland, Amanda Randolph, Brittney Randolph, Michael Dewayne Jackson, Devin Jackson and Jamie Jackson, all of the Pensacola area; his brothers, Riley Jackson (Bonnie), Houston Jackson, both of Antigo, Wisconsin and Walter Lee Jackson (Corine); his sister, Genevieve Jackson; ten great-grandchildren; a very special great niece, Jada "Tater Bug" Miles, all of the Pensacola area. The pallbearers will be Military Air Force Casketbearers. Funeral Services will be at 12:15pm, Tuesday, December 23, 2008 at Faith Chapel Funeral Home South. Interment will follow at Barrancas National Cemetery. FAITH CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 100 Beverly Parkway, is in charge of arrangements. A very special thanks to Covenant Hospice for their care and concern during a very special time of need. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, December 22, 2008 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 p.m.
