Zinnecker Rites Held Sunday George Herman Zinnecker, 88, of Windom, former veteran Honey Grove rural mail carrier, died Saturday, Sept. 3, 1966, at 8:30 a.m. at Allen Memorial Hospital in Bonham. Services Sunday at 3 p.m. were conducted in Cooper-Sorrells Chapel in Honey Grove, with interment in Oakwood Cemetery here. The Rev. Raymond Smoot, Baptist pastor at Windom, officiated. Son of W. C. and Estella (Buckingham) Zinnecker, was born Dec. 12, 1877, at Cass City, Mich. The family moved the following year to Michigan Prairie community north of here, and in 1900, to Honey Grove. Mr. Zinnecker was a member of Main Street Presbyterian Church here. He leaves his wife, the former Lillie Fortenberry, and these children by a former marriage: Mrs. Clarence Morrison, Garland; George H. Zinnecker Jr., of Fort Worth, and William Leeman Zinnecker, San Antonio; 13 other descendants, a brother, Lloyd Zinnecker, Houston, and three stepchildren: Albert Ratliff and Mrs. Fay Payne, Bonham, and Mrs. Lorraine Kirkpatrick, Rockdale. Pallbearers were: Alvin Frazier, Hugh Rigsby, Kenneth Olliver, John Bomar, Roy Epperson and Bill Beddingfield.
