MIDLAND - Mary Lauice "Lois" McCready, 86, died Sunday, Dec. 14, 2008. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in 16th and Pile Church of Christ in Clovis, N.M., with Jim Gammon officiating. Burial will be in Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens in Clovis by Steed-Todd Funeral Home. Mrs. McCready was born Oct. 13, 1922, in Kemp, Okla., to Walker W. and Annie Mary Elrod. She married Edwin McCready on April 26, 1942. Survivors include a son, Kem Edwin McCready of Midland; two grandchildren; and a sister, Joann Pressley of El Paso. Amarillo Globe-News, Dec. 17, 2008
