Ada Belle Ray was the daughter of Thomas Jason Ray and Nancy Parlee Morrison. She married George Wayne Helton (son of George Tucker Helton and Nancy Catherine Morrison) 21 May 1902 in Wayne Co., TN. They had 3 children: Pearl, Rubeye & Walter.
