Bio

James was the son of Thomas and Pearl (Martin) Hathcock. He married June Davis on March 26, 1946 in Canyon, Texas. James retired from Pantex Plant in Amarillo as Security Division Manager and Nightshift Superintendent. He was a veteran of the United States Coast Guard, a member of "The Bandits" Golf Organization in Amarillo, and a member of the First Baptist Church in Graham. James moved to Graham from Amarillo in 2000. Survivors at time of death included his wife, June Davis Hathcock of Graham; one daughter, Olivia Blankenship of Amarillo; one son, Jay Hathcock of Lakeside, Arizona; two sisters, Ollie Williams of Rockport, Texas and Abbie Campbell of Hesperia, California. He was preceded in death by one sister, Dana Davis, one brother, Clifton Hathcock, and one grandson, Jason Hathcock.
