Bio
John is the son of Greenwood and Mary Polly Elledge Davis. He married Catherine Harmison on March 24, 1857, in Clark County, IL. Their children: William Henry, John Eck, Thomas Goodman, Cyrus A., Green Wood, George Mack, Elra Jeff, Laura Anis and Lewis Davis. ∼ DAILY REVIEW 225/908 BETHANY-THE FUNERAL OF JOHN DAVIS WAS HELD AT BETHANY TUESDAY AFTERNOON. THE DECEASED WAS WELL KNOWN IN THE SULLIVAN AREA HAVING RESIDED HERE FOR YEARS. HE WAS 79 YEARS OF AGE AND LEAVES SEVERAL CHILDREN AMONG THEM BEING ?
