Funeral services for Emilie L. (Polasek) Krchnak, 87, of Sealy will be held Nov. 22 at 10 a.m. from Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 600 Fourth St. in Sealy, with Rev. Eric Pitre officiating. Interment was in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery in Sealy. Friends may call Nov. 21 from 4-8 p.m. at Knesek Brothers Chapel, 768 Fourth St. in Sealy, with a vigil service and rosary to be held at 6:30 p.m. Pallbearers are Mark Billig, Donnie Jousan, Dustin Schneider, Derin Schneider, Jennifer Lewis, Chris Jousan and Martin Jousan. Emilie was born in Wallis on April 8, 1921 to Rudolph Polasek and Amalia (Klecka) Polasek. She was raised in Wallis and graduated from the Guardian Angel Catholic School. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Sealy. Emilie married Cyril Krchnak on Aug. 14, 1940. Emilie L. Krchnak died on Nov. 19 in Sealy. She is survived by her daughters, Debbie Schneider and husband Donnie of Sealy, Cindy Jousan and husband Don of Sealy, D. Jean Krchnak of Houston and Linda Billing of Houston; sister-in-law, Louise Polasek of Sealy; grandchildren, Mark Billig, Donnie Jousan, Dustin Schneider, Derin Schneider, Jennifer Lewis, Chris Jousan and fianc/e Erica Oldag, and Martin Jousan; and great grandchildren, Zoe Billig, Ethan Billig, Jayla Lewis and Madeline Emilie Billig. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sisters, Agnes Pustojevsky and Monica Vitek; and brothers, Sylvester Polasek, Isidor Polasek and Sonny Polasek. Memorials may be sent to the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church Musician Fund, 600 4th St., Sealy, Texas 77474 or to the charity of one's choice.
