Vera Glenda Gallaher was the daughter of Lucas Walker Gallaher & Lina Ray. She married Ray Stephens. She married Harold Johnson. ---------------------------------- Vera Glenna Galagher Johnson Mrs. Vera Glenna Galagher Johnson, age 80, of Aiken, SC, passed away Monday, September 22, 1997 at her residence. She was a native of Ethridge, TN, a retired registered nurse, and a member of the Millbrook Baptist Church. Her parents were the late Lucas and Lina Ray Galagher. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Harold Johnson. She is survived by one daughter: Wilda Ann Nowocin, Aiken, SC, one step-daughter: Joyce Pickering, Naples, FL; two granddaughters: Tina Anderson, Aiken, SC, Christine Nowocin, Birmingham, AL; two grandsons: Tony DiFranco, Atlanta, GA, Pete Nowocin, Birmingham, AL; two great-grandchildren : Kati Anderson and Ali Anderson, Cullman, AL. The funeral service was conducted Thursday, September 25, 1997 at North Funeral Home with Bro. Thomas Mattox officiating. Burial followed in the John Lay Cemetery.
