Bio

Born in Czechoslovakia. Barbara came to America with her aunt, later her parents joined the family in Nebraska and Oklahoma. Her father died and her mother Tresa, remaried. Barbara was the wife of Joseph Kolar, Sr., who died and was buried in Milligan, Nebraska. Barbara was the daughter of Joseph Stejskal 1840-1886 & his wife Theresa Spore 1841-1925. She came to America with her aunt & uncle in 1880 and settled in Fillmore co, Nebraska. She married 1st 28 Oct 1882 in Fillmore co, Nebraska to Joseph Robert Kolar 1861-1894 . They had 5 children: Albana Kolar 1884 – 1976 Charlie Calvin Kolar 1885 – 1967 Joseph Robert Kolar Jr. 1887 – 1963 Antone Kolar 1892 – 1978 Barbara Kolar 1893 – 1895 She married 2nd 16 Jan 1897 Fillmore co, Nebraska to Frank Richard Kralicek 1870-1962. They immigrated to Oklahoma with her children and they had 3 kid all born in Oklahoma: Frank Kralicek Kolar 1898 – 1977 James Wesley Kralicek Kolar 1900 – 1985 Rose Teresa Kralicek Kolar 1902 – 2000 They divorced about 1901 OK and the kids stayed with her. The 3 children took the last name of her first husband, Kolar, and kept for the rest of their lives. The second husband remarried and had 12 kids.
