Bio

Thalia Brewer Thompson was born in Bonus, Texas, to Joseph Zealous Brewer and Ora Mae Brewer. She was a graduate of Austin High School in Houston, Texas, and was employed by Humble Oil and Refining Company (Exxon), retiring after 31 years of dedicated service. Thalia enjoyed gardening, music, collecting antiques, and spending time with friends and family. She was a member of John Knox Presbyterian Church. Thalia will be remembered by all for her love of God and family; her thoughtfulness and concern for others; her joy in life; and her courage and dignity during her final illness. Our special thanks to the caring staff at Park Manor of Conroe and Lighthouse Hospice. Thalia is survived by children, Rene' Ann Harris , William B. Thompson, Jr. and wife, Mary Margaret, and Lynne Petty; grandchildren, Anne-Marie Thompson, Lt. S. Craig Petty, USAF, and William B. Thompson III; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, John W. Harris; her second husband, William B Thompson; her brothers, Joseph Z. Brewer, James O. Brewer, and Bruce B.
