Bio

Mary Margaret Fehler, 85, of Dallas, passed away on Friday, November 28, 2008. A graveside service will be at 2 p.m., Tuesday, December 2, at Crawford Cemetery in Crawford. She was born in Killeen, Texas, to the late Friedrich William and Evy (Horton) Baumann. She married Harold Elliott in 1942, and Luther G. Fehler on Dec. 25, 1945. Mary lived most of her life in the Dallas-Fort Worth area as well as in McGregor and Killeen. Her sense of humor stayed with her until the end of her life. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Harold, on May 17, 1945; and her second husband, Luther, on Nov. 24, 1997. Survivors include her daughters, Naioma Boehringer and her husband, Rick, and Mary E. Fehler Freeman and her husband, Richard; sons, William "Bill" Elliott and his wife, Tonie, and Ronald "Ron" Fehler and his wife, Kathy; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
