Bio

Son of Jacob Harvey Groseclose and Sylvia Myrtle Shultz. Sister to Edna Clare Groseclose Cramer and Iva Ruth Groseclose Brock Case. Cecil was a writter for 'OUTDOOR MAGAZINE' He wrote poetry and did illustrations. His love for Oregon took him from his native home of Indiana. The Groseclose's were pioneers to both Morgan and Johnson County, Indiana. Married: 1. Virginia Reno 2. Helen Savelle Weem 3. Helyn Johnson, Cecil called her "Joan" allthough not her name. Perhaps because his previous wife was Helen. Helyn's parents were Marcus Johnson/Ethel May Rector. Cecil and Helyn were married thirty years according to Helyn's daughter.
