Evelyn Slovak (31737073) Suggested edit: https://www.jekeevermortuary.com/obituary/847591 Mrs. Evelyn Mae Slovak, 75, died Thursday, June 9, 2005 at her home in Ennis. She was born May 7, 1930 in Ennis, the daughter of Edwin and Albie Trojacek Nesuda. She was reared in Ennis and was a graduate of Ennis High School. On Nov. 19, 1960 she was married to Stanley Slovak of Wilmer. After their marriage they lived in Wilmer, moving to Ennis in 1968. She worked as a clerk for Perry Bros. and Citizen National Bank in Ennis and Abstract Title Co. in Dallas. For many years she had child care in her home. Mr. Slovak preceded her in death on Oct. 29, 1968. She was a member of St John Catholic Church, Ennis Sewing Circle, SPJST #25, Sokol and the Ellis Co. Czech Heritage Society. She is survived by a brother and his wife, David and Barbara Nesuda of Plano; a sister and her husband, Dorothy and Louis Kudrna of Ennis; 5 nephews; 2 nieces; and numerous great nephews and great nieces. Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Friday in the Keever Chapel. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in St. Josephs Cemetery with Rev. Fred Caldwell officiating under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday. Contributor: Yarda (50083133)
