Bio

MT. PLEASANT, Sept. 9 ----- A. B. Scott, age 79, a prominent and highly respected farmer of the Cathey's Creek community, died Saturday morning at his home after a short illness. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock by Rev. C. Hardly, with interment in the Sheboss cemetery. He is survived by his wife and the following children: Mrs. Mattie Lane, William, Brooks and Walter Scott, Mrs. Carrie Alexander, Mrs. Ruth Perry, Mrs. Mary Wiley, Mrs. Rosa Church. Mrs. Daisey Brooks, Mrs. Annie Flate, Alex, Thomas and Valentine Scott and Miss Nora Scott.
