Corsicana Daily Sun, 5/20/1966 p. 3. Tuesday Rites for Mrs. Jordan - Funeral services for Mrs. Ed Jordan, 68, native of Navarro County, who died in Fort Worth Monday, were held from the Corley Chapel Tuesday at 10 a.m. Graveside rites were held at the Milford Cemetery. The rites were conducted by Rev. Charles Strong of Fort Worth. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. T.L. Brunner of Fort Worth; a son, Edwin E. Jordan of El Segundo, Calif.; two brothers, Harmon and Berk Pope, both of Corsicana; three sisters, Mrs. George Dixon, Mrs. Sam Tucker and Mrs. Alvin Hughes, all of Corsicana; three grandchildren and other relatives. Pallbearers were Troy Dixon, Joe Bob Dixon, Kenneth Pope, D.H. Hughes, Leonard Hughes, Maurice Hughes, George Avinger and Roy Wilson.
