Bio
Tecumseh resident Juanita M. Lockard died Thursday in Shawnee. She was 73. Mrs. Lockard was born February 2, 1925 in Pearson to Loyd Ira and Willie Maye Davis Spaugy. She married Floyd Lockard on April 5, 1947 in Shawnee. She graduated from Asher High School in 1943. She was a member of the Avoca Church of Christ. Survivors include her husband, Floyd Lockard of the home, sons, Doyle Lockard of Florida, Darrell Lockard of Tecumseh and Roger Lockard of Justin, Texas, brother, Loyd Spaugy of Bethany, ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Kevin Lockard. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Cooper Funeral Chapel with D.W. "Red" Barnes officiating.
