Bio

The Herald, Piedmont, West Virginia, March 7, 1902: Mr. Le Roy Fisher, well known here, having learned the machinist trade in the B & O shops here, and who left here about 10 or 12 years ago, was killed on Washington's Birthday at Temple, Texas, where he was employed as foreman of the roundhouse of the Santa Fe railroad. On the day of the accident occurred a freight train was being backed into the roundhouse, causing an explosion in some way, killing three people, Mr. Fisher being one of the victims. His mother died at the above place only two months ago.. Son of Lafayette Delamor Fisher and Ellen Barbara Young Fisher.
