James C. Bennett BIG SANDY - Services for James C. "Jimmy" Bennett, 46, of Big Sandy will be 2 p.m. today at New Hope Baptist Church with the Rev. J.R. Matthews officiating. Burial will be in Chilton Cemetery under the direction of Croley Funeral Home of Gilmer. Mr. Bennett died Sunday. He was born Jan. 27, 1943, in Longview, and was a sporting goods salesman. Mr. Bennett was a lifetime resident of Upshur County and member of New Hope Baptist Church. Survivors include wife, Patsy; son, Jamie of Big Sandy; daughters, Mindy of Big Sandy, Carol Ann Sprawging of Waco, Debbie Massey of Corsicana, Tanda Brown of Wortham; father, Cyril of Big Sandy; and brother, Joe Ed of Big Sandy.
