Thanks to contributor #47226369 Published in the Arcadia Guide, Arcadia, Nebraska, Thursday, February 7, 1952, Page 1, Column 4 Frank Papiernik Is Buried Monday Frank Carl Papiernik, born at Pittsburgh, Pa., to Stanley and Mary Papiernik on September 29, 1875, died at a hospital in Kewanee, Illinois, on Thursday afternoon, January 24. He was 77 years old. His parents came to Sherman county and homesteaded on a farm east of Loup City. He grew to manhood there and when he was 16 years old he left the farm and went to Kansas City, Mo., where he lived for several years and then returned to Loup City. He was united in marriage to Miss Mary Michalski at Loup City on January 19, 1900. They farmed near Loup City and Arcadia for many years. In 1944 the family moved to St. Paul where they had purchased a home. May 19, 1949, Mrs. Papiernik died and Mr. Papiernik made his home with his children. Last September, he went to Kewanee, Ill., to make his home with his daughter, Mrs. Michael Monceski. He was a life long member of the Catholic church. Surviving him are his children: Mrs. Michael Monceski, Kewanee, Ill., Mrs. Margaret Sell, Arcadia, Mrs. John Walker, St. Libory, Anton of Omaha, and three children whom he and his wife reared: Mrs. Ben Kuffel and Mrs. Frances Limmerman, both of Omaha, Daniel Jonak of Cotesfield; two sisters, Mrs. Kate Zulkowski, Ord, and Mrs. Martha Dymek, Omaha; a brother, John of Ashton; 15 grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Services were held on Monday morning at the Keating Mortuary in St. Paul at 8:45. Serving their grandfather as pallbearers were Leonard Monceski, Chester Monceski, Lawrence Monceski, Allen Sell, Norman Sell, and Harry Kramer. Burial was in the St. Josaphat's Catholic cemetery in Loup City.
