Independent, page 11-B BILL MROCZEK LOUP CITY - William "Bill" Mroczek, 92, of Loup City died Monday, July 6, at the Rose Lane Nursing Home in Loup City. Services will be at 10:30 am Friday at St. Josephats Catholic Church in Loup City. The Rev. Tom Ryan will officiate. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 to 9 pm Thursday at the Loup City Memorial Funeral Home. Parish rosary will be at 7:30 pm Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the Rose Lane Nursing Home. Mr. Mroczek was born Jan. 22, 1900, in Chicago to Michael and Sophia (Barnas) Mroczek. He grew up and attended Country School District No. 56 near Loup City. He farmed in Sherman County for most of his life and was a motor patrol operator for Loup City and Ord townships. On May 19, 1925, he married Veronica Tworek. She died in 1957. He then married Cashmeria Platek on April 18, 1959. They lived in Ord for 19 years. She died in 1978. In 1979, he moved to West Side Park in Loup City. In January 1988, he moved to the Rose Lane Nursing Home, where he lived until his death. Survivors include one foster son, the Rev. Cashmere Krzynowski of Rome, Italy; one sister, Catherine Kuszak of Loup City; and one brother, Leo Mroczek of Loup City. He was preceded in death by his parents; two wives; one sister, Anna; and one brother, Alex.
