Bio

Funeral services for Sidney "Earl" Fletcher, 78, of Rosepine were held Tuesday Oct. 31, 2008, at 2 p.m. Hixson Funeral Home of DeRidder, La., the Bro. Gary Brown officiated. Burial followed at Rosepine Cemetery in Rosepine. Mr. Fletcher died Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2008. He is survived by his wife, Betty Fletcher, of Rosepine; his three sons, Jimmy Fletcher and wife, Gina, of Iowa, La., Sidney Fletcher, of St. Francisville, La. and Robert Fletcher of Rosepine, La.; two daughters, Melissa Higginbotham and husband, Ricky, of Rosepine, and Melody Fletcher, also of Rosepine; 10 grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
