KOOSHAREM - Mrs. Mary Christenson Brown, 59, died at the Sevier Valley hospital Tuesday of pneumonia. Mrs. Brown was born in Koosharem on May 5, 1883, a daughter of Albert and Christena Larsen Christenson. She was the wife of George Henry Brown. She was an active L. D. S. church worker and Relief society worker for many years. She is survived by her husband and the following sons and daughters: Austin, Vernon, Vallen, and Clavyton Brown of Koosharem; Allen Brown, Richfield; Mrs. Leonard Newby and Mrs. Bud Hanson, Monroe; Mrs. Ronald Cask, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Floyd Jensen, Sigurd; and Mrs. Sarah Christenson, Koosharem; 24 grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters: Elmer Christenson and Mrs. Louis Hatch of Koosharem and Mrs. Eugeune Brown and Mrs. Dennis Farnsworth of Richfield. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 2 p. m. in the Koosharem L. D. S. ward chapel. Published in the Salt Lake Telegram 1942-11-13
