Lambert, Steve Monroe Steve Monroe Lambert of Rockwall died Oct. 27, 2008. Steve was born in Sherman on March 28, 1935 to George and Juanita Lambert. He will be remembered as a hardworking Paving Supervisor. Steve is survived by son, John Carl and wife Carol Lambert of Collinsville, Texas; son, Norman Steve Lambert and Flo of Lake Tawakoni; son, Mike and wife Becky Lambert of Van Alstyne; son, Bobby Lambert of McKinney; son, Guy and wife Deanna Lambert of Lewisville; daughter, Dora Jean and husband Joe DeLeon of Rockwall; half brother, Billy George Lambert of Texas; 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Special Thanks to his devoted care giver and sister-in-law, Glenda Nel Dodson, of Rockwall. He was preceded in death by his wife, Billie Joyce Lambert; his first son, Monroe Lambert; and a half brother Ernie Lambert. A visitation will be held for Steve from 6 -8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 30 at Charles W. Smith and Sons Funeral Home in McKinney. A graveside service will take place at 11 a.m. Friday Oct. 31, 2008 at Fitzhugh Cemetery, Lucas. Pastor Mary Beth Hardesty-Crouch is officiating.
