Bio

Mrs. Lavauda Branch, age 82, of McKinney, Texas passed away May 6, 2005, at her home. She was born on May 7, 1922 in McKinney to Albert Henry and Lena (Noblitt) Snider. On December 29, 1945 she married Verr Garland Branch in McKinney. She was a school secretary for McKinney schools. She was a member of the First Christian Church in McKinney, where she was also a secretary. Mrs. Branch enjoyed fishing whenever she had the chance. She is survived by her son, Kenneth Garland Branch of McKinney; niece, Marianne Snider Walker of Ft. Worth; and nephew, Jim Snider of Arlington. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Albert H. and Lena Snider; husband, Garland Branch; sisters, Connie Snider Thomas and Frances Wynell Snider; and brother, Albert Snider. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, May 9, 2005, at Pecan Grove Cemetery with Rev. Dick Russell and Dr. Neill Grimes officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation from 4:00-6:00 p.m., Sunday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
