Bio

Florence Clure of Gering, Nebraska, obtained a marriage license with Glen T. Parker on 21 Jul 1923. (attached clipping) The Nebraska, U.S., Index to Marriages, 1909-1955 suggests the marriage occurred, Certificate Number 8277. Daughter Catherine LaVonne Parker's birth record shows her father as Glen T. Parker, she listed her parents as Glen and Florence Parker on a marriage license application in 1948. However, the linked spouse William Baylor Nation appears to be Florence's spouse as well, as she is named in his obituary, and although unnamed, she appears to be in William Nation's household in the 1930 U.S. census, with daughters Catherine and Arlene. Further, William Nation appears to have married three women who at one time were Parkers by birth or marriage. In the 1940 U.S. census, Glen, Florence, Kathryn, and Arlene Parker were enumerated together in Melbeta, Scotts Bluff, Nebraska. Florence Parker married Arthur S.
