THE MOBILE PRESS REGISTER November 25, 1946 Mrs. Sarah Ellie Atwell, a native of Sturgis, Miss., a resident of Creola, Ala. for the past eight years, died at the residence of Mrs. Lena Williams, 8 1/2 Joachim St., Sunday morning, November 24, 1946 at 10 o'clock. The funeral service will be held at the residence of her son, Mr. B.D. Atwell, Creola, Monday afternoon, November 25, 1946 at 3 o'clock. Internment will be in the Creola Cemetery. She is survived by one son, Mr. B.D. Atwell, Creola, Ala.; two daughters, Mrs. Norman Lane, Creola, and Mrs. Oliver Roberts, Mobile; two sisters, Mrs. Dora Davis, Laurel, Miss., and Mrs. Fannie Davis, also of Laurel; one brother, Mr. Jim Givens, Greenville, Miss, 14 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and other relatives. Arrangements by the Higgins Mortuary.
