Bio

A memorial service for James Wilson Bailey III, 59, of Lafayette will be held on Wednesday, April 3, at 1 p.m. at Providence Baptist Church in Rosepine. He was born Aug. 22, 1942. He died March 22, 2002, at his residence. He is survived by one son, Randy of Colorado Springs, Colo.; one daughter and son-in-law, Laura and Buddy Molpus of Longview, Texas; his mother, Marjorie Cronk of Sacramento, Calif.; his step-mother, Maureen Bailey of Leesville; one brother, Roderick Bailey of Longview; two sisters, Brenda Saldana of Sacramento, Calif., and Penny Benner of Blythwood, S.C., and two grandsons, Kyle and Austin Molpus, both of Longview, Texas. He is preceded in death by his father, James Bailey Jr., and two sisters, MaryAnn Bailey and Linda Galeano.
