Bio
William Harvey Spaugh was the fourth of nine known children of Junius Alexander Spaugh (1847-1936) and Mary Jane Hartman (1847-1897), who married 17 Feb 1870 at Forsyth County, North Carolina. After Mary died, Junius remarried to Laura V. Horton (1860-1954) in c1898, but had no additional known children. William married Cardovia (went by Dovia) Hathhorn (1876-1948) in c1898 in presumably Texas, though a marriage record has not been located for them. William and Dovia were the parents of nine known children, namely: 1. Leonard Cleo Spaugh (1899-1965) 2. Mary Opal Spaugh (1901-1903) 3. Theodore Junius Spaugh (1903-1972) 4. Bynum N. Spaugh (1904-1979) 5. Ioline Spaugh (1906-1906) 6. Byron H. Spaugh (1907-1979) 7. Edith Spaugh Pupkin 1910-1940) 8. baby Spaugh (1911-1911) 9.
