McDearmon, Gladys Sarina MYRTLE SPRINGS - Services for Gladys Sarina McDearmon, 83, Myrtle Springs, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday at Eubank Funeral Home chapel, Canton, with Bro. Steve Glosup officiating. Burial will be in Haven of Memories Memorial Park. Mrs. McDearmon died Oct. 17, 2008, in Mesquite. She was born April 26, 1925, in Roscoe to the late James David and Febble Mae Leonard Curtis. Mrs. McDearmon had been a resident of Myrtle Springs for the past 22 years. She was a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim McPherson and son, Mike Thomas Curtis. Survivors include her sons, David Carpenter, Donald Carpenter and Ronnie Carpenter, all of Myrtle Springs; stepdaughter, Delilah Vaughan, Kyle; stepson, Jack McDearmon, Okla.; brother, James Ray Curtis, Fruitvale; sister, Oleta Fay Abbott, Myrtle Springs; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
