Husband of Narcissus Jane Beasley . ∼ Services for M.L. Ratliff were held in the Stamford Church of Christ He moved to Jones County in 1912 from Garden City. He had been a member of the Church of Christ since 1867. He was actively engaged in farming until 1936 when he and his wife moved to Stamford. Surviving are his wife; five sons and three daughters by a former marriage - L. D. Ratliff, W.H. Ratliff, E.S. Ratliff, Burt Ratliff, C.S. Ratliff, Mrs. Roy Lang, Mrs. Eddie Jefferess, Mrs. R.W. Campbell; two stepsons - Joe Beasley, B.B. Beasley; 33 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren. Stamford American May 14, 1937 front page
