Mary was the daughter of Zabud Franklin Duckworth, Sr. & Mary Jane Thompson. She married Shadrach Meshach Abednego Rodgers IV on 28 September 1843 in Covington, Co., MS and they had fourteen children. Her husband is buried in the Mt. Ida Cemetery, Montgomery Co., AR.
