༺✿✿✿༻ LOVING MEMORY ༺✿✿✿༻ Hattie Maud Ray Morris ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ December 30, 1872 - October 2, 1959 Hattie Morris Dies at Dallas DALLAS (Special) - Hattie Maud Morris, 86, died at a Dallas rest home Friday after long illness. She was born December 30, 1872, in Nebraska and was married to Rueben E. Morris, December 3, 1890, in Texas. He died in 1941. The couple came to Oregon in 1910 and Mrs. Morris had resided in Dallas for 49 years, except for a short time when she was a resident of Silverton. Mrs. Morris was a member of the Christian church for 75 years and an active member in the Women's Christian Temperance Union, Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. C. E. Smith of Portland; Mrs. William Domashofsky of Dallas; Mrs. H. H. Rich of Dallas; Mrs. Jack Steiger of Lynwood, California; and Mrs. E. A. Wickstrom of Culp Creek; and four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Services wil be Monday at 2 p.m at. Bollman Funeral Chapel with Rev. Philip Wolfe of the First Christian Church officiating. Burial will be in Dallas Cemetery. Published in The Capital Journal of Salem, Oregon on Saturday, October 3rd, 1959 .• Page 13.
